i have one with a alan tank drag upgrade and i loaded it with 1000yds of 100lb braid then 150yd topshot of 125 bull buster never been spooled and i fight at about 30lbs of drag starting off then tighten down as the spool gets lower and never had a problem

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Braid-Fishing-L ... _642wt_753

this is the braid i use its 8 strand compared to 4 strand that power pro uses and most braid company uses and honestly its great braid I've tested the breaking strength and got to 121lbs before it broke on 100lb rated braid. Its got no brand name but boggy showed me this stuff and i haven't had a problem at all with it and boggy has been using it for years its good braid and we both believe its made by a company who makes brand name braid but also sells it on the side without the name. good stuff not too expensive and holds up also cuz its 8 strand if 1 strand break its at 7/8 strength instead of 3/4. good stuff got to my house in 14 days seeing as its coming from japan but that company makes it themselves and sells it on ebay. I also love my davis rod that i got from ebay very well built and very strong never had a problem with either and both work great hope this helps guaranteed you won't be disappointed with either buy cuz i haven't

Only the 2x is 8 strand I actually have some heree and have unwoven it after a lot and I do mean a lot of messing.with it lol it should say somewhere on there if not check on the other 2x listings and ya davis rods are great I was really impressed and took the gamble since the low price and it is well worth the money 1 yr warranty no mater what happens to it slam it in car or shark breaks it and ut holds up well had 8ft + lemon pier side half out of the water thrashing and barely bent it I have the 100-140 standard guides and love it and honestly can't see it breaking anytime soon shit is strong!!!!!!!!!
