Picked up a new old school rod 2 day

Those are great rods and that one looks to be in excellent shape.Magnuflex used to build them in Miami don't know if they are still in business but that blank with those Mildrum guides is a classic.That rod I know well because my friend Rene(rip) had one on a 12/0 and it had a perfect bend .It's not like a heavy tuna rod that does'nt hardly bend instead it's light and bends from the foregrip up.A tip to you is oil all the roller guides and tighten them just right because the replacement parts for MIldrum are not easy to find.How much did you pay for the rod and do they have another one like it?.

Thanks for tip Will, some 1 brought it in an got store credit for it I don't no how much the owner gave him for it. But the store was selling it for $128 an I couldn't pass that up. It was the only 1 that they had. But if I ever sell It will you'll be the frist I tell. I was thinking about putting my 14/0 on It. or do you think I should put my 12/0 on It?

That rod is great for 80 to 130 lb test .If you hook a monster and have to put the brakes on em prepare for that stick to bend like a half a C.I like rod that bends and acts like a good spring to help you gain line.Good deal Congrats!!
