hey everyone so soon i plan on buying one of the new penn 10500 reels so that during the BHC we can fish the spinning reel category...i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a off the shelf rod for this reel ive never had a spinning reel this size so kinda lost on a rod. thanks

Penn Torque 12'
Ocean master 12' 3-6 oz or greater.
They carry both of these @ Bass Pro. Check the reconditioned rod rack first for a great deal. The torque is about $120 and the ocean masters are $150- $160.
Me and my friends have these combos and sling out chunks and bring in 8 ft lemons, 5ft eagle rays, and 6ft tarpon.
