After a tarpon became ensnared within my braid, it was only but a few minutes before I lost 300 yards of braid and 100 yards of mono. Some braid was donated to me to add to my reel, but the way I fish, I don't trust even some of the strongest knots; so I decided to create my own.
The sebile-to-sebile knot. The best braid to braid connection without a hollowcore splice.
I used a piece of 80lb mono to join the two ends of 65lb braid and gave myself extremely generous tag ends just in case 
.
The turnout was this
I locked the preset on my avet down and pulled the knot with 2 hands and nothing slipped. Also, it slides through the guides like butter.
Just an average fisherman.

very nice i have actually thought of tying that same knot before but never acted on it.
