Thouht I would share a few pictures of my rod build. It is a Seeker S775-8. 8 foot 80-100lb class rod. I went with the ribbed EVA rear and fore grip. Silver AT reel seat,Aftco silver tuna block and a perfection silver ball gimbal. I went with the AT chrome turbo boat guides. I'm missing the Aftco roller tip, I have been going back and forth with mudhole for over a week as they sent me the wrong size so I sent it back and still have not recived the right one !!!! But that's another story. I plan to put the first coat of thread master epoxy on tonight. I can't wait to put the 9/0 on it and catch some sharks!!!! Thanks for looking, And don't mind my daughter pink sheet.

That's nice looking rod. Color combinations like that - are my favorite.

Where did you get the ribbed EVA? How big of an i.d. do they come in?
Great rod!

I got the EVA off ebay. I has an ID of 3/4 I did ream it just a tad, but using the rubber cement method I dont think reaming it is even needed! Sild right down like butter.

been BUSY BUSY BUSY but I got it finished. I put the Aftco roller tip on tonight and MAN does that tip weigh the rod down! With the tip on it put's a slight bend in the rod! You can definitely feel the added weight with that tip on the rod when you pick it up and hold it. I was just curious how you all felt about the weight of the tip :?:

Must be a really light action rod if an aftco tip is putting a bend in it... I don't think this will have an effect on the fishing of it though...

Just an average fisherman.
