Hey all, I'm hoping to go for my first shark in the next month or so in Okaloosa Island. I am building a rig with 0.035 diameter wire leader and don't know what size dieter crimping sleeves to use. Thanks folks!

I use haywire twists when using wire. Or you could double up the wire and double haywire twist it for extra strength. I haven't ever used crimps for wire before. If you don't know how to haywire twist their are a lot of videos on YouTube about it.

So I meant to type that I'm using stranded cable... Will the haywire twists work with that? I'm at work and not able to try it out just yet

I don't know if haywire twists would work with cable. I have always used single strand wire for shark and other species of fish. Crimping would probably be the better option for using cable.

Get a 1 millimeter (also known as size 2B) copper crimp for that size cable. Twists are for single strand wire, not for multi strand cable.
