I need some help with bullbuster I want 125lbs test for my 14/0. But everyone keeps saying that anything under 200lbs test will snap. How is this true if my 14/0 maxes out at 50lbs of drag. I need strength but I also need to be able to do long drops. Do u think 125lbs test will hold or not. Please help.

I think you are misreading what everyone is saying. If you are fishing this 14/0 in the idea of catching a monster hammer then 200 is ideal; however, in a lot of cases the 125/130lb line will work. I have never used bullbuster so I cant comment, back when I fished senators I used ande and momoi and never had issues with either.

I've got bullbuster on my 14/0, just pack it to the brim with 125 and you'll be fine.

Its good stuff, I have the 125 on a few reels and its very good line. You can always put on a 150 yard top shot of the 200lb by using a 10-12 foot piece of 200lb hollow core to join the 125 to 200.
