Need help choosing a heavy mono

I am looking for input on 300lb mono for a topshot. This will be on top of 300lb jerry brown hollow core. I personally find triplefish (original camo) up to 80lb as hard to beat, but I include castability in choosing triplefish. I dont have much experience with heavier monofilament outside of 130lb tourny ande and 220 momoi extrahard leader. Any suggestions or input in general would be greatly appreciated

Give 200lb Bullbuster Monofilament a shot.IGFA's line testing machine looked like it wasn't going to break our 200lb test. Finally at the end of a few minutes it scaled out at a breaking strength of 237lbs.

1lb spool 200 ($15.99)

Available Colors:

Clear
Pink
Blue
Hi-Vis Yellow

Although bb 200 is probably heavy enough for 99% of the sharks out there, in this application I will be fishing for the 1%. Although I will be giving bb a try this year on my 9/0everol for sure. Boghy thanks for the links, great prices as well. Anyone have experience fishing lindgren pittman mono?

If you are in driving range, from Pompano Beach i would recommend to go there. They have some nice nice, 18/0 circle hooks. Same material - carbon steel - used in gamakatsu hooks, but uncoated like gamakatsu were they look nice and shiny. The only thing about hooks is that they sell them in 100pcs which cost about $70, but then if you do the math, comes down to less then $0.70 per hook. All these commercial grade.
Don't get me wrong i like bullbuster, but only if i would go under 200lb line. Over 200lb line - LP is the best fit.

When $$$ is not an issue that's good too, but again, you can find them up to 200lb, or he ask for 300lb.
