my buddy wants me to re do a rod with the same kind of guides but some are broken off but ive never seen these guides before... any one know what kind they are or where i could get some... they are black stainless steel
Joe,the guides you are asking about are your standard conventional casting guides "Boat Rod Guides" I looked up the guide you were asking about in my mag. & couldn't find them in stainless. The ones I did find range between $1.35 up to $3.51 If your doing a tear down,it might be easier just to replace them all considering the cost. Try going on the web & look up mudhole.com They carry a big variety of rod building componets. Hope this helps
mudhole was the first place i looked and they only have them in chrome color not black and yea i am re doing all the guides since the rod is ten years old
