I want to increase the amount of line on my avet. How much braid backing can i get on my reel so that I can have at least 350 yards of 130 lb mono topshot.
i think dan and john have 1500 yards of 200lb braid and it only put them at like half a spool.
It really depends on the line you put on and its diameter - especially on the mono part of the equation. I can tell you for a fact that an Avet 80w will hold 500yds of Jerry Brown 130lb hollow core braid and 425yds of 150lb Hi-Seas Grand Slam mono becuase thats exactly what i have on mine and another friend of mine is loaded exactly the same. The Hi Seas 150lb is almost the exact same diameter as the Bullbuster 125lb.
