MIldrums rollers bent

I have a Magnuflex 80 with Mildrum rollers. The guides are bent about 10 degrees to the right.

Is the rod still useful with guides bent like that ?

Is the metal bent or are the guides twisted(threads old and loose) on the rod because they took a hard knock? As long as your guides are well greased up and functioning like they were intended to then they should be fine.
By the way Magnuflex made a fine shark rod and some fine surfcasting rods back in the day .They were based out of a Miami warehouse.

The rollers work. The wire "legs" that hold the rollers off the rod are slightly bent.
Miami. I grew up there (Southwest '76).
