Which one do you guys prefer and why? im in the market for an 80w and i have heard great things about both. the makairas drag is unreal

Think about it like this, try and find an okuma reel other than the making that is not known for being a huge hunk of shit. Y would the mak be any diffrent

the makaira wasnt designed by okuma. it was designed by tiburn reels but they didnt have the cash to produce it so they made a deal with okuma. Just go read about the makaira in some older threads on here. everyone that has one loves it. Its one of the smoothest reels for the money because of its helical cut gears.
