That is a Converted jigmaster 99 converted to be accuritized. Basically meaning its been upgraded to much stronger parts made by the accurate company.

very nice reel and an ok price.

I'm not sure how much capacity that spool has, but as far as drag, they are all pretty much the same - 15lb drag. The reason why a while back accurate produced frames, spools and sideplates for jigmaster was because Penn lack to build sideplates with bearings, instead they only build them with bushings. This add-on booming business from accurate stopped as soon as other manufactures offered better deals for same price range for other reels compared to adding the accurate parts on a jigmaster. In other words, for $110 you get better options with much more drag then the 15lb that you can get from a jigmaster. As an example take a look at Daiwa 300H - / ML 2 BB 3.7 : 1 29.9′ inch/crank weight 22.90oz Line 25/360, 30/310, 40/230 17.6lb drag - all aluminum frame and has no issue where using line under 20lb would get caught between the spool and frame like jigmaster has. You can buy it even for $40 on ebay - used.

Mojo-yeah i know what the additions are to the reel, thats why i bought it. i was just wondering the line capacity of it so i could get line for it.

Monox- yeah i already looked there, they didnt seem to have any info on a penn 99.

stevensj407- thats the only thing i read on the reels is that they are smooth and can cast well. i also plan to use it for kings too.
