how should i spool my avet 80

I have 600 yards of 130 braid, with 500 yards of 100 on top.

thanks thats kind of what i was thinking of doing.

There's many ways of doing it, I'm sure more people will chime in.

alot depends on..how far you drop your bait, how much line you like to fight the fish with, is there any debris where you fish, what are the sandbars like

i usually fish captiva and its pretty clear there, but ya i am looking for a way to spool my reel so that i can have over a thousand yards. thanks for the inputs

I have mine spooled with 600 yards of 130 hollow braid topped with about 350 yards of 130lb mono. You would be suprised at how much more abrasion resistant the 130lb is over the 100lb. You can also put alot more pressure on a bigger fish with the 130lb.
