I bought a Harrinton 555 blank (80-100 lb)for an old 12/0 in 1978 from Biscayne Rod and I think I paid $65 for the blank alone then I wrapped it ,used it for three years and had it stolen while we slept at the Bear cut bridge on Key Biscayne. It was a beatiful blank with thick walls and the best finish I've ever seen on any blank,,,,,,,very nice bend almost 9 foot long and not too heavy. Is the 530 a similar blank? What pound test is it rated for?
