i cant decide where to put the stripper guide

have you tried static testing the rod. put it where u think it should be and the rest of the guides and flex the rod and see if the line hits the blank an where

alright im gonna do that.
i have a gator blank unfinished, shoud i coat it first then wrap the guides on or wrap the guides on then coat the guides and the entire rod simultaneously
