first decorative attempt

i dont have a table so i was holding this in my hand and using sewing thread so its not the best but i dont think its bad for a first decorative wrap. what do you guys think?

looks liek it has a 3-d affect, i dont have the slightest clue on wrappign rods so idk if thats good or bad but i think it looks nice

after i got it done i noticed all the x were not lined up. but i was spinning the rod in my hand if i had a table it would have prolly came out better. but i like the result.

i didnt do a under wrap because that was alot of twisting and it wasnt worth it to do it for some thing that doesnt mean any thing right now.

That's really good! With my limited rod building experience I used a cardboard box with the top cut off with 3 inch V's cut into it and it kept the two rods i built resonably steady
