Has anybody tried this rod? If so, how we're they and what were the pros and cons to the rod?
My buddy has one and loves it! He said a great rod for the money.
I've had one with a 14/0 on it for a little over a year. I've beat the hell out of it, and its never let me down. Same for the 130 class bill fishers which are about $80 we've had the 80's locked down and get dumped twice this year without the rods breaking a sweat. Only thing you have to watch with the davis is the rollers are small.
I have one that im currently trying to sell. Only selling it cuz i got a new rod with my duel i purchased. it is a ver strong, kind of stiff rod but bows up nice if you hook a big fish. Fished it since march no complaints. The guides are a bit small but havent been a problem.
I'm looking at these right now. Anybody change their mind on how they perform? Haven't found a lot of reviews online.
