Is the must ad 16/0 good for sharks? I feel like the gap is to small to hook a shark
I have caught lemons and tippers on those hooks. Seem to work well.
You can also look for the Lingren Pitman 18/0's.
I used the eagle claw sea circle 2004 12/0's and got lemons too.

Just got my first catch last night with that mustad 16/0. It was a decent 5 1/2 ft bull but I hand sharpened the hook and made sure to really let the shark gobble it up before I set the hook. Also hooked onto a big tarpon while shark fishing with the hook but he threw it about 10 mins in.
Congrats man. I guess I made a good buy on the hooks. Sucks you lost that tarpon. I'm going tomorrow night hopefully I catch a decent shark

For Blacktips I like to use Eagle Claw 12/0 circle hooks and for bigger bull,tigers,hammers, I like to use Lindgren Pitman 18/0 circle hooks.
Lindgren Pittman all the way. BUT there is absolutely nothing wrong with Mustad hooks!
I'm only 17 so I'm on a really tight budget. I will be working over summer though. once I start making some money im gonna invest into more and better shark gear. I've been planning on getting lindgren pitman hooks but didn't have the money
