Can i use one of those cheap inflatable rafts to paddle bait

In Florida we use to use inflatables in the summer months when the surf was flat and we had nothing else MORE STABLE to deploy baits but North and South Carolina tend to have higher surf and I would not attempt using an a cheap inflatable in unfavorable conditions. If you buy a better stronger inflatable make sure you have metal paddles and not the plastic ones that bend and snap when trying to beat past the surfline.Try and find someone with a kayak to borrow or rent or even a 10 to 12 foot aluminum jon boat work faster and act better in high surf then the best inflatable or recruit a local surfer to paddle far and beyond........always USE A LIFE VEST.

I used to have one that had a leak in it.
I was scared everytime I took it out.
when your coming in after dropping the bait it gets crazy in the waves.
I used to wrap my baits/rigs inside my shirt so it wouldn't poke a hole.
I have a kids yak now and it sinks when I get on it but if I paddle fast.
It's just fine.
you can use any thing you want. just some things are better ideas then others. if you use a inflatable make sure to use a bucket so hooks dont puncture the raft. make sure to use a life vest. i never wear one but i should i just always forget it or have someone paddle baits. lol
