Had a buddy introduce me to a site with cheaper cable. Don't know if it holds up any less than the stuff you guys use, but I figured I would throw it out there for ya.

I have been buying cable on ebay from Wilson Building Products, for a couple of years now. Last night ordered a 500' spool of 3/32", T304 stainless, 7x7 (rated 920#) for $79.99 and free shipping. He is selling the dbl. barrel copper swage crimps for $15 per 100 for the 3/32".

Has anyone tried buying wire from webriggingsupply.com? They give discounts for buying a 500' spool. I seen a guy off ft.desoto pier going for hammers using it.

 no smiley or nothing???

1.8-2.3 mm aluminum crimps will work. Most places you get crimps will tell you but 400lb mono size can range a bit so I usually get the 2.3 mm
