To get good tackle at inexpensive prices, check out your local K-Mart. (Believe it or not!)
Prices flutuate from place to place as does variety of tackle for sale .Wal Mart and K Mart seem to have pretty good prices but many times there stock is very limited.If you're looking for anything that has to do with your camping needs then those two i mentioned are the best but with fishing tackle I will say shop around locally.For sinkers you'll have one place that's 30 cents lower per pound then the rest ,then if you're looking for heavy mono Ande line will be cheaper at one place then they jack the price up,it's American business at it's best .Do your research ,make the calls and prepare to spend some time frustrated with the high prices you'll find.One of the best places to buy tackle at low ball prices is at the Marine Flea Markets that are becoming ever more popular .The one that I make a point to attend every year in April is the Dania Jai Alai Marine Flea Market in Dania beach .They are a few in Pompano and in the Florida keys .I have found everything from an anchor ,to coolers ,to 16/0s and great Texas style surf rods ,to a stockpile of shark hooks in an old paper bag at bargain prices.Do a Google search for the next one or buy the Boat Trader and look for the ads. If you have the time and are compelled to do it E-bay is one of the best places to find great deals on fishing tackle.Make sure you buy from a dealer thet has a good rating."Buyer Beware" The best way to shop is online because most reputable tackle outlets have websites where you can compare there prices ,,,,,,,,ah the marvelous internet learn to use it to the fullest and you can save alot of dough !!!
