I would say double up the braid and do a uni to uni, but personally I make a bimini twist to the braid which end results in a double line then tie the uni to uni

Just an average fisherman.

If you buy an avet for say, charkbait, they'll gonna give you fully spooled with braided line and mono topshot were they'll gonna use a biminni knot to an reverse albright knot. They do that based on they testing machine that they have there where they test this type of connection. Now, IF you have issues where your guides on your rod are small, then please read this post

I had that problem but just bout a davis rod 130lb class with standard guides cuz I lost 3 big sharks last night one hook pull 2 cut off and I have a feeling it had something ro do with the small roller tip because that was brand new 80lb test and I found a kink in my line 50 yards up from the first break off where my line lookes smushed like ut got trapped or something I had 18 foot leaders and my 80lb just snapped under maybe 25lbs of drag during first 10 min of both fights
