Hey guys,
I just got a 12/0 and I'm interested in building a rod.
It is my first time building one and I need help figuring out what blank I will need.
I want a 6.5 to 8 foot rod as the finished product.
In the 80-100 rod class.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks alot,
Chris

Hey Chris, there is a guy selling 80lb-unlimited Gator glass blanks on here in the for sale column . He can also be found on ebay if you do a search for "rod blanks" They come in 10' lengths,so you can cut it down to tune in the action your looking for. I have one that I built for my sons 14/0. I didn't buy this blank from him,but we have been very pleased with it. Hope this helps

Nice blank if looking for an 8 foot blank.
Keep in mind for an 8 foot blank shipping is $13 plus $10 for the extra lenght total $23 plus $8 tax
$151 total

I sold out on the 6 blanks of the gatorglass 80lb - Unlimited.
If you need a 10 foot gatorglass shoot me a PM I know who has them for $175 all day long.

Building off the Seeker S775-8 Blank,
Got fuji heavy duty guides (25,20,16,12x3,10x3, with aftco rollertip)
what would the guide placement be? do I need to use all the guides or space them out more?

thanks

id lay the rod down and place the guides next to the rod and see if you want all the guides or less or even more

Beautiful rod ,love the colors, and the long foregrip is a plus when reaching up to bend the rod and add heavy pressure.

I must say I like your taste in color choices, you must be either an Auburn fan or a Gator fan(I'm hoping you say Gators.) That rod looks so close to mine that it makes me miss my old rod :(.
