Hey guys,
I am looking to build a 10' Foot Blackfin 80-130 blank for Beach and Bridge. It will be paired with a 14/0. Looking at roller stripper and roller tip. Gonna be sitting in sand on beach with shoulder harness/

What would you guys say as far as butt length and guide sizing and spacing.

Thanks,
Chris

one thing i could recommend remember im not a rod builder by any means but i think if you tape the reel or secure it to the blank before u build and when you go fish one day or even in your yard sit in the ground and see how it feels then find a rail and see how it feels on that. then if it feels right mark it and put ur rear grip then reel seat there. just a idea maybe a rob builder can chime in and tell me if this works or not

what hes saying is just get a feel for where the reel will b sitting on the rod to see where you like it
