After using the J style hook for several years i have now decided this season im going to start using circle hooks as i plan on making up a few rigs.We mainly target Bronze Whalers at my local jetty and use baits up to 5lb whole skipjack tuna. What would be the best rigging method for such big baits on circle hooks and also what size circles should i look at buying?? any help or pics would be greatly appreaciated

Thanks

Brad

Lindgren-Pittman 18/0 all the way. For huge baits, you can't beat the price.

When you bait the hook, rule #1 is to keep the gap between the point and the shaft clear. Otherwise the circle hook can't work correctly. I'd type more for you, but I gotta go to work. But good for you for giving circle hooks a shot!
