I received my new "trex" yesterday and had it spooled with cheapo 80lb mono but after only one Fish and a day at the beach it's starting to get worn. So this weekend I'm gonna get it respooled. What should I get? I was thinking 500-700yds of 130lb braid and a 130lb mono topshot. Thanks

150lb braid with 75 yards 150lb mono but thats me

I fish my penn 50vsw with just over 800yrds of 130lb hollow core then 100yrds of 150lb mono on top. On the avet you can get a touch more braid on, make sure it's hollow core so there is no knot.
