avet i prefer a reel that was fully made here and just a superior reel. i believe it also has a larger line capacity. internationals are assembled here but the parts are made in sweat shops in china.
I believe the Avet is the better option out of those two. I do not own one, but have heard nothing but good things about them. Another reel I would consider would be the Okuma Makaira. Sounds like another solid, well built reel with a little extra drag power.

AVET - American made - 100% metal minus the handle (hard rubber like) - dual drag disc means more power with less pressure - light weight - better line capacity - did i mention power - huge gears equal superior strength. Once you get to fish with a two speed reel and experience the drag smoothness and strength you will never look back.
Plus AVET reels just look and sound cooler!
Both clickers suck though
