These reels were insane and go back farther than anyone can remember, everything from 10/0s, 15/0s, 16/0's, and 20/0's... not to mention the genius idea that would be quite helpful on such gargantuan reels... a levelwind... I dedicate this post to Jimmy Levelwind

Very cool! I love looking at old reels and fishing photos. Hard to believe people caught fish on those! These days the way to go is get the smallest most expensive reel you can get with the most drag and electrical air brakes with auto retrieve, load it with dental floss, and you're ready for mighty kong!
