i was going through my back room and i found a older rod it is a abu garcia bgs 8410 it is a 10 foot medum/heavy action rod, 12 to 25lb class rod. does any body know about these rods like how old they are and how much it would be worth?
also the it of it was broken what is the downfall to having the rod be shorter then the length on it.

ok for some reason on my way home from wal-mart i was thinking about my post and i worded it wrong. i meant to ask if it would be a prob if i put a new tip on this rod where it is broke at. it broke like 2 inches from the first guide.
