i have a 4/0 wide with the red spool that i have never fished i recently got a offer to trade for a penn 555. i have never played with these and it seems like it is a little smaller then a 4/0 wide has any one used these before? are they good for casting and live bait fishing for king fish and such? maybe even some small sharks.
bro I had a 555 and it had major problems with the main gear, I would be locked on a fish nailed drag and all of a sudden it would go into free spool,lost a nice fish on that reel never forgave it since, I heard on the later model ones that fixed it, so find out if it is a later model
it is one of the new ones i think but how can i date them? also how would u compare it to a tld15
I don't know how to date them, I am sure if the piece goes bad they have a newer (improved) piece for it, I don't know how to compare it to a tld I have never used one
