"Yed and Ed's" Calcutta/Rattan rod?

I just found a Calcutta/Bamboo type rod at a swap meet. Its very thick and only has one guide and a tip. I plan on rebuilding it. Hell, I may even fish it (just want to land one shark on it) It has a sticker on it that says "Yedd and Ed's Tackle Shop, Shark River Inlet BE 6-86450-J BELMAR, N.J." Anyone have any clue on age or any info? The reel seat is metal and you slip the top foot of the reel in it and some type of clamp is used on the lower foot (like a hose clamp or something). I'll post up some pics later when I get off work. I want to try to "date" it so I know what reel to try to mate it with. I think Im going to put my big old "Leatherdrag" on it and see what I can pull off . Its just a lil bigger than a 4/0. Its a "Knucklebuster" (no anti reverse) so a good sized tipper or something bigger is gonna get pretty crazy pretty fast . Or I may just put my 4/0 wide on it and fish a light drag and alot of power pro .
