Island camping and sharking...10,000 Islands
With our annual island camping trip approaching we began stock up on shark bait. Between fishing from my boat, the beach, and a bachelor party charter trip in the keys we were the most prepared we had ever been...We stuffed several large coolers with grouper and mahi head, jacks, ladyfish, bluefish and cow-nosed rays
After a day at the beach

Ended up with 13 mahi...a few of them in the 20# class range (Tag'em Charters, Islamorda, FL)

Saved all the mahi carcasses and here is Shawn and I processing them the next day

Making a lil shark gravy

GRAVY!!!

After 2 nights and 2 days of sharkin we tallied 6 lemon sharks to 8ft and one big nurse shark...but not glory fish that we were hoping for...
My buddy Matt brought his $2000 Nikon something-or-other camara and just got some amazing shots
