i got a 8'10 bull at boca grande yesterday. I had just filled my 16/0 with 130 mono and because it has 3 piece spool the mono expanded and blew my 16/0 up about 50 yards of the beach during the fight. it was a big fatty did the length to girth weight measurment and it said it weighed 396.26 pounds but i dont think it was right. pics will be up later

I was using a medium sized mud ray that soaked from 7:30 to about 7 clock when he picked it up. I had one small run but i thought it was a nurse so i let it drop it. Yeah i know it took me 5 or 6 times of going there to land anything sizable. Im just ready for that keys trip in a couple weeks, im ready to learn how to fish the keys!
Took the line off the 16/0 and took it to a shop and now its ready to slay some fish again.
