We've been fishing this spot for atleast a year and a half now, but it has never produces like it is right now, two 9 foot bulls on back to back days, one fight 45 minutes the other 1h30 ish. Two weeks ago an 11ft 2 hammer. Team Bullbuster has been battling the weather and the security guards for the past month now, but well worth it.
Our first bull caught thursday night, was on a whole bonita, this beast picked it up and never stopped, it was a constant screaming from the rod, we let it eat for about 20 seconds, then the running man, then even more line screaming. We new we had something nice. The fish went right, towards a pillon, so we had to try to turn him or go wide left, so we started lowering the rod to the left and praying he would stop or turn, and after a while of that, he did. 45 minutes after the hit, we had our Bull.

Next day, Friday, same plan, same routine. Both sharks hit right at or right after high tide. This time it was 30 minutes after, everyone was in their whole we dug out to keep warm and as soon as the rod went off sand was flying everywhere from everyone running. This time we told steve it was his, he's been with us, helping with all sharks, the true bulg Picking up the 16/0 from the pvc pipe steve and us new this would be difficult. Shark didnt stop runnin for about two minutes, just kept going and going. And then it was a stalemate, not gaining line and not loosing it either, just a tug of war, eventually steven was getting tired so we began helping lift the rod up and down while he continued to reel, this greatly improved our gaining rate, as steve could now focus on the what could be the clincher for the no limits tournament. 1h30 minutes later we finally see a fin, hoping for a hammer but getting another bull, we were still overjoyed. Steve's arm were like jello, he couldnt do anything after that but pose for the picture. It was one hell of a catch by one hell of a junior angler Steve Stallings.

I want to give a special thanks not only two my two wingmen and greatest fishing partners zack and steve, but also to Will, Shannon, Raymundo and most of all Colby. Each of you have each shared knowledge with us that has lead to where we are today. Thank you for taking time and fishing with us and helping us on our techniques and education in the sport. Obviously, we still have room for improvement, but learning from you guys is something we love to do.

Those are some big a## bulls fellas. Is that one faul hooked? is it the one that fought for 1 1/2 hr? No complaints here when we catch a line stretcher like that. I dont care what it looks like as long as it pulls hard. Some of the bulls we catch just give up but others fight hard like a hammer. May be the location of the hook. I have noticed that the fish pull harder when hooked with a circle hook. I guess it ant pullin on theyr guts or gills. Congrats on having all the old guys worried about the competition. Ya run may be over by the tourny.
