JD we walked that hammer for 10 minutes helping it revive before releasing it but it washed up dead the next day on the beach-so no we never weighed it as a matter of fact we found out it was washed up from a news report from Canova beach.

when these fish hit the 11' mark they start to grow outward, with the fins being pretty oversized on this fished it was starting to get up there in weight...some 11'ers weight only 275-325. this one was very well beyond that mark maybe 425-450...i havent seen the stills in a very long time but of what i rember off them it was starting to get pretty thick at the base of the tail and neck and the fins were almost full grown....still a very nice one !....congrats again, mike ;)
