Early wednesday morning we left my house around 6am. ive been working crazy hours through season and we are due for our second child any day so i just wanted to get out and catch some fish! we hit our spot and before the sun came up on our first casted bait, 3 foot bonnethead!

we had action constantly for 5 hours! we didnt have time to even crack a beer!!! :D
after the hammer we ran into some nice sized blue fish, more sharks and macks!!!
our tally for the day was
bonnethead-1
spinner/shapnose-4
blacktip-3 largest 15lbs
bluefish-5 16-21"
spanish mack-6 largest 25"
jacks-2

all in all awesome day out and now ive got even more bait to hit the beach with in search of some big boys!!!

jerry

*** what i was calling shapnose/spinner didnt have much black on fins at all and most had spots all over their back, any ideas? just want to make sure im calling them correctly . ty

Yea...The One With The Light Colored Spots On Its Flanks Are Atlantic Sharpnose, & The Others Are Blacktips. Should Of Used The Little Sharks As Bait You Could Of Got BLASTED. Nice Spanish Macks & Bluefish, Still Amazing That We Still Have Winter Fish Around 8-) 8-) 8-) :D :D :D ;)
