Went out to Juno with Tim, Jonathan, Turkey, Hammer, and Myself. Deployed 7 shark rods - jacks, bonita, and a big cuda around 845. Ocean was oddly flat and give a weird feeling all night. Something was dead about 50 yards past the sandbar, throwing up a very visible slick and a nice smell.
Tim's 14/0 with a jack got hit around 10, but it found the reef and cut him off.
My 80W with 15 pound cuda got destroyed and was cut about 18 feet up from hook, shark must have circled to see if any thing was left and grabbed the leader. (Will's idea of using cable as the mono leader looked pretty smart right after that happened)
Tim's 16/0 got bumped and then dropped then bumped then dropped then finally fish committed to it. About 500 yards out and gave Tim a nice fight. Pulled some good drag and some monster headshakes (looks great on braid with no stretch). Fish came in was a 7'7" Tiger, hell of a fight for a small guy. Had someone elses J hook in the corner of its mouth. Got the hook out and he promptly tried to devour my dehooker (nice way to thank me)

Later in the night, the 14/0 got hooked up and a tipper came in.
Wasn't guthooked, just wanted to bleed
Nice catches and toughluck on the big ones. Cuda has to be my favorite bait and with every story I see from it helps reinforce that.
The tiger bleed cause the hook wuz in its tongue....weird!!!!!!Overall it went on it's way and lived happily ever after.....

Beautiful lookin' tiger..great work guys. I've seen one before hooked right in the corner of the mouth that bled a decent amount, I think they're just bleeders..great catch!
