Timmy's First Shark Palm Beach Report 3-22-2013
Went to the inlet today, we had a strong south/east wind at 10 mph.
I guess we made the Palm Beach Daily News front page from our Nurse yesterday.

Mark (Slasherx4) Lost a huge jack on the end around 30lbs.
I got a quick picture before he lost him in the rocks.

So we put out some fresh baits and we hooked up on some Blacktips fast.
Dylan was using my Penn SQL40 w/50 mono Ande and my Gator Glass rod I'm selling.

I think this is an awesome picture of the rod bend!

Then Dylan puts out another bait and gets slammed again. ![]()

So after that a family walked up on the jetty with some shrimp and some rods.
I gave them some advice and they caught two spotted perch and one sand perch.
Then I asked the younger boy "Timmy" if he would like to catch a shark, he said yes. So I told him the next one was his after I set the hook.
Sure enough I get hit.
Look at Timmy with the 10ft Rod. He did an awesome job reeling this shark in.

Have a great weekend everyone! ![]()

I want to say Thank You, to Timmy's Grandfather for what he did today also. ![]()
Thank You!
Jimmy, your skill at making posts have much improved. I had no idea you got a picture of me with a fish on
Even though it was a bad luck trip for Hammer and I (catching zero fish and losing a good amount of lures), a bad luck trip at palm beach inlet is still fun.
Just an average fisherman.
Excellent report.A grandfather is blessed to have his children and even more so to have good health that allows him to be able to spend time with his grandkids. Thanks for the post Jimmy.
