The Great DUSKY SHARK Comeback of 2015

Where the heck are all these dusky sharks coming from?We are delighted to see the resurgence in the number of Dusky sharks that are being caught on Florida'a west coast and particularly up around the Panhandle.Going from no Dusky's caught in years to over 10 caught since November of 2014 this indicates the population is increasing rapidly or is it that they have come closer to shore this year with the currents,Who knows, but we are most def happy to see them being caught. It's just a matter of time before a 12 footer or bigger is caught during the winter months; like back in the late 1970's and 80's. Check out Earnie Polk's pictures on his facebook account to see a bunch of those Dusky sharks caught within the last several months.

GREAT report , beautiful sharks,& that white sand was too,

I wonder if the duskys came in because of the effects of the oilspill & all the correxit dumped on top out there?
