Team "True Blue" 2012

We had a great year with several good fish caught. Hate this is a bit late but I like it like that. We finished the year off with 130 sharks over 5'. That count includes 5 team members and the fish they handed off. This year the count is gonna be diffrent. I realy hated excluding other fishermen from my count. I'm counting everything my head rope goes around. I'm also counting everyones separately. The best fish was an 11' tiger by John Cutherll. John also caught a 9' scolloped hammer. Total hammers was 5. There were 2 at 9' and 3 at 8'. I caught two. We also caught 3 big dusky's. A 9'4" 8'10" and 8'8". I cut a packing band off ones neck that had been there so long it had grown in to it's skin. We have caught 3 sharks that same way this year. We caught 6 tigers over 8'. No makos for 2012. The last few posts we had harvested the fish in the post. We tagged over 100 sharks last year. We harvest about 5% of what we catch. So we are primarily in to tag and release. We also caught and returned three tagged fish. I fish every fishable day possible through the winter months. I treat it like a job. Everyone depends on me to get there bait out. Orca has helped catch over 250 sharks. My little RC tug boat is bad ass! Very dependable even in rough water. Everyone likes me and loves my boat. Haha! I'm gonna get Brett to post some pics. Iv got some videos comming. Orrin Jhonson has videoed several catch and release sharks.
