Team "HammerTime" palm beach 2010
Saw a few other threads like this so i thought I'd make one, this is not all the sharks we caught, left out all of the 200 blacktips we caught but here's the hammers, tigers, most of the lemons, and bulls.
First off is the first decent shark we put on the beach, chase's lemon
Then the tigers started showing up at the pier first one kyle got was this lil guy probably around 8ft
Next came this one around 10ft
After the tigers we spent alot of time chasing big hammers with blackbart and ended getting burnt alot but got these few lemons
Then once school got out we didn't fish as much since kyle had travel baseball but while he was gone we got this bull and hammer
We also met viktor of team rebel at juno pier and him and I went one night with our mexican prodigiy richie and got him this 8' 3" bull on a tld 25 and 40lb mono!
Then ended the summer with kyle's 10ft+ hammer
Got burnt a few more times and caught many more tips after the hammer that's the one bad thing about fishing up here, they'll ruin your big baits and knaw on a 20lb ray until they get the hook, did get a few baby bulls right before the past few cold fronts but it was just me n kyle so we never got pics.

Some mighty nice catches there by some up and coming young sharkers,,,,,,,Congratulations!!!

Thanks everyone, we're really excited for 2011, plan on fishing BHC if we can find the time. We're all trying to save up for more 80w's and found more 80-130 gators to build when we get the reels. Richie will deffinatly fish with us in 2011 as over the past year he's not only proven to us but chris and the rest of blackbart aswell as viktor and zack of team rebel that he can put big fish on the beach and wants to learn everythign he can about lbsf. He'll paddle for us without us asking for him to do so and I've never seen a 13yr old kid as fearless as him he didn't even hesitate to throw the tail rope on my hammer as it was going nuts in the wash and could paddle for miles. Chase and I also finally found someone over 18 so we can fish tournaments if chris gets blackbart together. The kid tyler we work with just came out and said he'd love to come out and fish with us one night to see what we do and knew that we needed someone over 18 on the team for tournaments and said he wouldn't mind putting the time in needed to win we also have another guy billy we met at the pier that has fished with chris and the crew a few times that will sit on the beach with us till 2 in the morning permit fishing and knows the drill when it comes to sharkfishing and since us and blackbart fish excatly the same spots the same way with the same setups he already is acustomed to how we fish.
Nice fish. As many big fish that comes out of the area where yall fish it looks like yall may have the sharkiest beach in florida. A proven tourniment winning fishing hole. I am shure ya team can replace black bart and pull fish of the same quality. Nice tiger pics. Did ya head roap it or just walk it to the beach? That bull looks huge with the little guy by it.

Ernie on both tigers we got em straight up and down and just broke them off. We're not supposed to be sharkfishing off juno pier and if we put one on the beach they'd for sure kick all of us off the pier, we've done it a few times since it's got banned at juno but right before the pier closed while lifegaurds were off duty and with hammers that we knew needed to be revived since they we're hooked in bad places, we have to sneak 9/0's and 12/0's out in backpacks and put 4/0's on our shark rods while walking out since we can't fish anything bigger than a 4/0 off juno. This spring should be fun for us at juno since some very big hammers come by there chasing tarpon and bonita schools and it's a blast to pitch a bonita chunk to one but it seems like when we don't bring the shark rods out is when they show up and we end up watching a 4/0 get dumped by 11 or 12ft hammers.
well I'm sad to say we will not be fishing the BHC since it's right in the middle of baseball season for kyle and possible in the way of lax for chase. Were all pumped for this spring though, kyle just jim at juno bait to start on another 80-130 for the 12/0 and i'm paitiently waiting to see if this one guy that brought a bunch of penn 80w's into lotts where I work to get serviced ever picks them up cause if he doesn't get them soon we're selling them for repair costs and I got first dibs. his bill was like 1500 bucks for 4 cause they wouldn't shift into low and needed new drags and bearings, he thought they'd be only like 100 a piece which is the cost to just service them and won't pick them up so he has 30 days from the time we called him to tell him they're done to get them, if not atleast one is mine and going on my 80-130 if not I'll just find another rebuilt one for cheap which is pretty easy and then I gotta drop $300 on line. We also started loading up the freezers with rays and jacks. we've been wanting to hit the beach and kyle made it out a couple days ago solo and got a little bull and some tips swiming pompano but right now is in the middle of cobia season so we've been focusing on them and the heads make some damn good bait since they're to hard for a tip to bite through.
