Super Moon Fishing 2 more BULLS- 9 foot and 8 ft 2 inch

While i was on a date friday night, the rest of the BullBuster squad packed up and headed to our promising shark fishing location to test out the new moon affect on it. When they finally arrived, the affect was already visible, Hundreds of people on the beach to look at the moon, smoke, drink, and gossip. Certainly not what we wanted to see. So unfortunately, with such a crowd that included a sail boat anchored 60 yards out, they had to call it and returned home with the fresh bait and all the gear.

Saturday night they set out again, this time a different obstacle stood in their path, key biscayne cops. This breed of cops are not your normal cops, pompous and judgmental (well i guess thats a lot of cops aswell) they saw that we werent the usual key biscayne high class type and pulled us over. After searching the dingy up and down and getting a nice wif of bait, they let us go, but not without the two tickets totaling $229 for an expired tag and no lights on the trailer . So my team continued to the fishing grounds, now an hour after the tide we wanted to catch due to the interruptions. They set up the rods and took the baits out and waited. Small hits and nice little runs led to no show sharks, just little tippers probably messing with out baits. I was at home chillin when i got a call from steven to head over there to fish for a bit and after some convincing i showed up.

Its now 1230 as my feet touch the sand, and as they do the 16/0 starts screaming. Steven and i make a mad dash to the rod, passing zack as he is napping in his whole. The run stops after about 25 seconds of running. We bring the line tight cuz it got really slack and went to base camp to talk and eat. 10 minutes later the same rod goes off. CLAAAAAAAAAAACK. but its not stopping, we know we got him this time. Steve does the drag as im about to do the running man, READY! GO!!!!! i mush my ass up the sand and as i do BAM! i bust my ass. I get back up and keep running and setting running and setting. I handed the rod to steve after that showing i did so he could reel the fish in. However we had no runs, no head shakes, just weight was all we were dragging in for the next probably 30 minutes. After many jokes about bringing in a big rocks and fat nurses, steve says he felt a head shake, by now the fish should only be about 30 yards out. We keep joking, "Man you got the great barrier reef". And after 5 more minutes we see a dorsal and a body, a very nice body. After No Runs, No nothing, steve finally drags up ANOTHE 9 foot BULL. We take pics, take measurements do all that stuff. I had OJ open the sharks mouth and saw what probably led to the sharks fight. It was Gut Hooked. the stomach was in its mouth. I guess he just downed that full bonita on its first run and on its second run, when i set the hook, it was already down its throat. We spent a good 20 minutes reviving him, every now and then feeling a head shake or take push. Eventually we gave him a nice Big push and he slowely disappeared.

I was done for the night i thought, i came, i helped, they conquered, as im saying my goodbyes the 12/0 on a short rod goes off, screaming non stop, zack picked up the rod and set the hook and then passed it to a friend of ours . Needless to say i stayed around for a little bit, i took a video of the sharks first run and pictures of the angler. Due to the short rod and a fairly amateur shark fisherman fighting the fish, it took pretty long to bring this guy in. He didnt just run once or twice, bu ran atleast four times, the last two being only about ten yard runs but still. we thought we had a monster. After and hour in a half of fighting the fish our friend nick finally had his first BULL shark, a nice 8ft2 bull.
