Summer Break Shark Fishing Report
Well I only had a week of summer break, so I had to make that week worth it! I fished hard and got some great fish! My friend Greg from Canada flew down and joined me on his first ever saltwater fishing expedition. He caught a total of 5 sharks!
The first night I went fishing with Pete Barrett and my friend Mike. We caught 3 blacktips and lost one big shark The shark charged the beach and became unhooked by doing a head shake. The one blacktip I caught was 6'7", an awesome blacktip!

That night I also caught a tiger shark with the rig lassoed around his tail!!

The next day I met up with Ryan from Team Infinity and Mike again and we caught 3 blacktips and one Sandbar. Ryan caught the sandbar:

The next day I went fishing with Ryan again and we caught nothing. We did have a hammer pick up one of the baits and the reason we knew it was a hammer because the wire was completely bent around his head.
The following day I went out to sea on my 8ft kayak with some live croakers with the intent of hooking a sail or a kingfish. To my surprise I caught a tiger shark.

The next day Mike and I tried the same thing again on our kayaks with live croakers and we had no luck!
I took a day of rest before my friend Greg flew down from Canada. I knew as soon as he got down here I would not stop fishing. The first night we hooked up with Pete Barrett and managed to catch 6 sharks, including one stud bull shark 8' 3"! Greg caught his first shark along with two others!

The next day Greg and I headed north to try and hook a big shark during the day, and managed to catch a nurse shark and a shark which species I cannot identify? Greg was happy with his first nurse.

And so concludes my one week of freedom!

I like the way you hook your sharks... the circles work amazing
... and that mystery shark... there are quite a few little full grown sharks like that. There was one pic I saw on here a long time ago of Chuck Doria with a massive one of those. It was a sharp nose or brown nose or black nose... something with nose in the name lol. The report looks good.
Just an average fisherman.
