Ya I shoot my own photos...all those pics were taken with a $150 point and shoot camera..I used to have a nice Nikon DSLR but parted with it a few years ago. There isn't a specific technique I use..I've taken so many shots over the past few years that I kind of know what the shot will look like before I take it. When shooting in the day, make sure the sun is to your back. Also when shooting someone posing with a fish during the day, use the flash to fill in the shadows created by the sun. Most of my pics I somewhat enhance in photoshop by increasing the saturation and if the pic needs, sharpening. The most important thing is to just take lots of pics with different settings and eventually it will click. When I am fishing solo I will just place the camera on the camera case and set a 10 sec timer.
