Small Sandbar - Video
Finally finished Bridget's rod for Christmas. So we went out to try it out.
Met up with a friend and hit the beach. 48 degrees lead to a very invigorating kayak ride.
Put out the two 80s with a sheepshead and a horse mullet. And dropped the 30 short with a small mudray.
Something was messing with the ray but didn't commit.
About 30 minutes later, something finally grabbed it. We let it eat and tightened up to set the circle.
Bridget fought it and had it on the beach in about 10 minutes.
Was a 5'9" Sandbar shark. Not a big fish, but her first shark all on her own.
Tagged it and sent it back on its way.
