Short Report 10/17
I made a last minute decision to put a bait out sunday evening..Only brought one big stingray and rigged it up whole hoping for the monster we hooked last week. The clicker went off 20 minutes after the drop but it was just a little female bull. Still fun nonetheless, home before 9pm.

Nice Bull man.

Great last minute decision! Nice fish man..looked nice and calm out that day too! Judging by the surf cams it too bad today either. Of course, on the days that I work 14 hours. By tomorrow I am sure it will look like the coast up in North Carolina since it is my day off ![]()

I hear ya man..I only have time to fish weekends and that's usually when it's blowing...I'm just trying to spend as much time on the beach as possible before the strong cold fronts start coming through.
That water looks awesome. Is that cable? Cool idea to just pull your tandem hook across like that on the ray.
Amazing appetite those bulls have
That is #19 single strand wire..You can't really thread a ray with wire as easily as with cable so I don't even thread it.. we have a pretty good hookup percentage with the way it's rigged in that pic, the only problem is the hooks don't always stay straight. I guess that's how those bulls get so bulky..they eat 20lb rays like it's a candy bar!
