Me and a friend went to sharkys Friday lost four solid hook ups to unknown reasons. So with both of us having Monday off we both decided to head back Sunday no matter the weather. Upon arrival we knew we weren't prepared 51 out with winds blowing at 20 MPH. Not a good combo. Had a solid hook up around 830 after a 30shark min fight I lost the shark to the pier......retied and was baited in no time. Around 915 the pole takes off like a bat out of hell I set up and it was a solid hook up. The beast took me up and down the front stretch multiple times. 1015 I had a 8ft solid (sandbar) pier side. Got pics which will be posted asap.

That's cool and crazy to hear sharks in that kind of weather! But I remember last year it was so cold JD Fagan was the only one to stay out on sharkys with baits down and got some hits and got a bull I think.
Just an average fisherman.
i went today and got a little pup shark and that was it.

yeah looking at it now id say it is...it was fat as hell though and 20 ft up on a pier with 4-6 swells dont help judgment that much thanks for clearing up what kind of shark it is for me
