#1 To see the land-based shark fisherman unite and set aside the differences that have divided this sport in the last couple of years. Boatlessfishing,txsharkfishing,extremecoast, ,,,,,guys we CAN work together for the greater Good!! We at SFSC and this website are willing and ready to work in conjunction with any other site that has the best interest of land-based shark fisherman at heart.
#2 To see someone land-based break another world record like Walter Maxwell did in 1964.A big Boca Grande 1400 lb hammer from the beach or a 1600 lb panhandle tiger would be nice.This would put this sport in a position of gaining much respect and recognition.
#3 On a personal level would be to break my personal best of 13 feet 8 inches in either a Tiger or Hammer

Having lost 1/2 of my left thumb to melanoma cancer amputation (see how difficult it is to guide your line in on big reels and nerve sensation to cold) and unable to shark fish this year and be humiliated by my idiot friends, my personal goal is catch a shark around 12 foot plus to shut them up and give myself personal satisfaction.I believe big monster sharks will be harder to come by years to come with all the b.s. finning going on!Let's also see someone break an IFLSA record monster hammer or tiger that's bigger than Bucky Dennis's sharks caught on his boat!Yeah

I came close last year on Delray Beach, my goal is to top Bucky Dennis and his world record hammer, only i plan on doing it from land!!!!
My other Goal is to turn my wife Sandra in to an even better shark fisherman.
