HEY GUYS IF YOU ENJOY LAND BASED SHARK FISHING THE BEST IDEA IS NOT TO DRAW ANY ATTENION TO YOURSELF WHILE YOUR OUT HAVING FUN KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY(THEN CITIES) ARE TRYING TO BAN SHARK FISHING ON ALL BEACHES THEY THINK WE(SHARKFISHERMEN) ARE DRAWING SHARKS IN I ALSO BELIEVE THAT NO MEDIA IS ALWAYS BEST BECAUSE IT WILL HURT YOU OR US IN THE LONG RUN
I LOVE SHARKING BUT IF IT KEEPS ON GOING THE WAY IT IS. IT WILL OUT LAWED IN FLORIDA
THANKS CHAD

Chad I agree, but it can also be a plus to educate the public .It lets them know we mean no harm to the environment we also tag and release sharks. it lets the public know through the media that we have good points as well as bad. THE MEIDA can be a tool to work in our favor.

people dont care about catch an release . all they care is about is if they feel safe in the water and everyone thinks that we are attracting these bigfish to the beaches.
the trend about people being down on sharking isnt going to get any better

so the news an all that other attentions grabing stuff isnt good

the real problem is that people think that sharks are blood thirsty eating machines

and untill epople realize that they are not the problem isnt going away

yeah i agree with you
it has been since the jaws movies came out and even before that sharks are killing machines and are blood thirsty animals since the other night when cody caught that big bull shark off the st pete pier peta
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has been all over the pier and bugging everyone fishing if you go and look back peta is bad for us and they say crap that is not right and they pick on KFC and other companies that the way the animals are killed is in-human
just a few thing peta says:
•Animals Are Not Ours to Eat
•Animals Are Not Ours to Wear
•Animals Are Not Ours to Experiment On
•Animals Are Not Ours to Use for Entertainment
•Animals Are Not Ours to Abuse in Any Way

I agree with hammer. When you see us with three 16/0s and four 14/0s stretched out in one spot, they know damn well we are not tarpon fishing lol!!! I feel that it is better to educate them, and explain that we mea no harm to the sharks or beaches we fish, we fish at night, we release all our sharks, we clean up after ourselves, and in the morning you will not even notice we were there, if locals come ask you ?s and you lie or shy away from the truth, then you leave them open to assume all sorts of negative, its better to lay the truth on them, but the right way!!!!!!!!! Willie fundora and other club members were fishing that same beach in delray 30 years before they had those mansions and wealthy, cry baby locals!!!!I know i will continue to Sharkfish from beaches untill i die, they my take away delray but there are thousands of beaches were humans are nowere in sight, here in florida!!!!!!!!!!!! i will take care of my spots and answer any ?s locals or haters may have!!!!!!!!!!!1
